Maytag front-loader washer error codes

If that doesn’t occur, manually remove some suds from your washer and check if that removes the code. If the code still shows, try a hard reset by turning your washer off for three minutes before turning it back on again. To prevent this issue from occurring again, ensure you are using a high-efficiency (HE) detergent.

If the code still shows after checking the drawer, try a hard reset by turning your washer off for three minutes before turning it back on again.

Error code: F8 E1 or LO FL

This error code indicates low water flow in the washer. It’s usually caused by a lack of water entering your washer. To remove the code, check if the water faucets are turned on. If that doesn’t work, ensure the water inlet valves aren’t blocked. If the code still shows after checking the valves, press the pause or cancel button twice, followed by the power button once. You can then check if the code has stopped showing. If that doesn’t work, try a hard reset by turning your washer off for three minutes before turning it back on again.

If that doesn’t work, try a hard reset by turning your washer off for three minutes before turning it back on again.

Error code: F9 E1

This code means the drain is taking longer than it should. Check the drain hose isn’t blocked or being obstructed from working correctly. If so, fix the problem and check if the code has gone.
