Tech performed diagnostics on Maytag washer which he said did not indicate any problem, though machine did not complete cycles and left clothes floating at cycle end. Washer often froze between cycles; had to unplug to reset. Retailer replaced machine upon learning about these problems. Tech knowledge how to run diagnostics questionable, but he did point out that washer wasn’t level and together we fixed that.

If I had known the total bill in advance, I wouldn't have gone through with it. When he said repair would be around $200 I thought that meant for everything. Then a timer was ordered for another $220. I can buy another fridge for less than that. But since he had already started, I told him to get the timer.
